ROBOTSTAR DEBUTS SOUNDTRACK CD
"THE ART OF SECRETS"

New York--The New York/Japan based group Robotstar is releasing its first CD "The Art Of Secrets" as the soundtrack to the book "The Art Of Secrets: Pirates, Robots, + Beats" by New York writer Adario Strange (available at BarnesandNoble.com). The group features the collective efforts of producer Bahx, Sachiko Kato, Jeremy Seitz, Yoshiko Kawahara, and Leslie Deere in a mix of sci-fi beats and rock influenced soundscapes that vibrate like the perfect mix tape score for an interstellar road trip. Available on TokyoNYC, a music and film production company based in Hell's Kitchen, New York, the CD evokes images of robot revolution ("A.I."), twists the legacy of the father of modern computing Alan Turing ("Turing Test"), delves into the transhumanist theories of sci-fi writer Vernor Vinge ("The Singularity"), and even features the voice of noted physicist professor Michio Kaku expounding on the future of computing ("Loading..."). The first video from the CD is for the song "Elite" and is due to reach the public in July 2001. All the music on "The Art Of Secrets" is also due to be featured on the documentary (based on the book) available as a full-length DVD in Fall 2002.
